Tap to undo/redo is switchable in Sketches Preferences.
Press the cog-wheel in the ••• menu to access the info panel.
- Open Sketches preferences
- Enable “Tap to undo/redo” option.

You can use your creations made with Sketches as you wish.
Do not hesitate to show them to us via our networks.

Despite some similarities, the Android, iOS and Mac versions of Sketches are different apps. They each require separate purchases from their respective stores.
 
If you purchase the Pro IAP on Mac, you can only "restore the purchase" on the Mac version of Sketches.
The same is true for the iOS version (iPhone and iPad) and the Android version of Sketches.
 

Verify you've allowed access to the App Photos when first opening the app.
Follow the steps below :

  1. Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Touch the "Privacy" menu item.
  3. Touch the "Photos" menu item.
  4. Find "Sketches" in the list of apps and touch it.
  5. Touch the "Read and Write" option to allow photo access.

Sketches will now be able to access your App Photos and save your drawings.
You can apply this steps to all Tayasui Apps.

If you want to erase the Sketches App and backup your drawings you have many possibilities :

If Cloud Sync is ON you have nothing to do. Your drawings are safe on iCloud.  

If Cloud Sync is OFF you can either :
  • Backup Sketches to your device
    or
  • Backup Sketches to your iCloud Drive
    or
  • Backup Sketches to your computer

If you want to erase the Sketches App and backup your drawings you have many possibilities :

If Cloud Sync is ON you have nothing to do. Your drawings are safe on iCloud.  

If Cloud Sync is OFF you can either :
  • Backup Sketches to your iCloud Drive
    or
  • Backup Sketches to your computer

You can find the steps to follow illustrated here.
- Head to Apple's Report a Problem website.
- Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase Sketches
- Find the App in the list and Click "Report a Problem".
- Click the "Choose Problem" dropdown that appears.
- Select the problem you encounter
- In the textbox that appears, type the reason why you want a refund.
- Submit your request.

To Restore your In App Purchases (IAP):

- Press the cog-wheel in the ••• menu and in the info Panel menu
- Tap on the Restore Purchase option.
- Use the same account with which you bought it.

If it doesn't work you can also try to buy it again, if you use the same account with which you bought it, Apple will not charge you a second time. 

You can also activate Pro version on any device with the same account you bought it.

Please make sure that you didn't download the paid Sketches Pro app (black icon), the one without IAP. 
On the iPad, in a folder, you can change the orientation of the drawing by rotating it with two fingers.
Tap the ••• button on top of the canvas and then tap the import button.

If you can add a layer, you have the Pro version.

Press ctrl to display the brush editor.


We use keyboard shortcuts to display certain options such as the brush editor, the color eye dropper or the color palette.

Here are the detailled shortcuts.

Two options :

- Tap the ••• icon on top of the canvas and tap the export icon.
- In the export options, choose "Transparent background”.

or

You can manually hide the paper layer.
- Open the layer panel and tap on the eye icon in the paper layer.
- Tap the ••• icon on top of the canvas and tap the export icon.
- In the export options, choose “Save image”.

1 - Draw on a layer above the paper layer (you can merge all layers into one to get your complete design)
2 - Choose "export layers” in export options.
3 - In your export folder, you will find your drawing layer on a transparent background, separated from the background paper layer. 

 

To export your drawing to an other App : 
- Tap the ••• icon on top of the canvas and tap the export icon.
- Choose “Open in…” option
- With Pro Purchase or Sketches Pro App: Choose between PNG (single layer) or PSD (multiple layer) formats
- Select an App destination

Your drawing should open automatically in the destination App, otherwise, open the destination App and find your drawing.

You can do the same operation back to Sketches from other App.

Back to Sketches from Procreate : 
- Choose Select, select your drawing.
- Choose Share and select the appropriate format (PNG or PSD format)
- Choose “Copy to Sketches”
Sketches App will automatically open on your drawing.
  1. Tap on the Sidebar icon to display the sidebar.
  2. Tap on “Edit” in the top of the sidebar to access folders settings.
  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes.Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

- If not possible, describe how to reproduce the issue. 
- Could be useful to join Sketches and iOS version.

Look on the top bar menu.
Click on the "Pro Bundle" tab and select "Restore IAP". 

Despite similarities, please note that Sketches Mac, Sketches on iOS and Sketches on Android are different apps, with different features and separate purchases.

Therefore, there is no way to sync your drawings from one application to another.

Pro features are a one-time purchase with no time limit.
If you are connected through the same Apple account that bought the IAP, you can buy them again by clicking the "buy" button. You will not be charged twice for the same purchase.
Sketches free with IAP purchase (white icon) and Sketches Pro (black icon) share exactly the same features, but they are not purchased in the same way.
Sketches Pro is Sketches free with the Pro Bundle IAP and all extras are included.
 
If you work on an iPad retina or an iPhone 6+, you can print a letter or A4 page size with great quality.

On iphone, your drawing will always be at the same size as your screen.
On iPad,you can change the paper size, this tutorial will teach you how to change your settings canvas to work in higher quality > tutorial here

The colouring books have been temporarily removed from the application. They will be back very soon.

Sketches Mac does not have exactly the same features set as Sketches App on iOS.
Some features will be a bit late to the Mac…Yet some won’t make the cut.
For now, we haven’t ported all the rulers to the Mac, as it is not a widely used feature on the iPad.

Patterns are only available in Sketches Pro.
Apple Pencil
 

This is a security measure that we have put in place to prevent the loss of drawings.

This is a constraint related to your device.

To avoid this problem, you can zoom into your drawing (pinch to zoom) and move it (hold two fingers and move) until the border appears.

You can also lock the zoom to 70% by pinching your drawing to display it in its full size and access the borders.

We have removed the "Swipe to undo" preference to match standard industry gestures. 
To undo or redo, please use the "Tap with two fingers to undo, 3 fingers to redo" gestures. 

In Sketches preferences, disable the option "Auto Straight Lines".
This function allows you to draw a straight line while holding the end of a stroke.
